Healthy Breakfast for Healthy Beginners

Lets face it- there’s a lot more to worry about than food when it comes to the mornings for most of us. We oversleep, scramble to get ourselves in the shower, throw something on, and then grab for a quick snack- often a donut or maybe some kind of high sugar cereal bar. STOP- put it down, and back away from the unhealthiness. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It’s the first thing that boosts your metabolism, and the first thing that gives you energy to get through the morning. So why start off on the wrong foot? Make it your ritual to start the day off with a clean, well thought-out, and beneficial meal that you will thank yourself for within hours. No need to slave over the stove for hours, there’s so many quick and amazing things you can create in no time at all! Here is a few of my favorites:

Spinach fried eggs with low fat melted mozzarella cheese, sided with sauteed red bell peppers

Granola almond cereal with fresh raspberries and almond milk

fruit salad topped with Greek yogurt!
